Golden Agreements
Facilitating Important Family Conversations
Golden Agreements facilitate sensitive conversations to navigate the complexities of aging with love and understanding. Difficult topics like driving, support roles for finances, healthcare, and living arrangements as well as expectations for independence are explored with detail. These conversations foster open communication, build shared understanding, and establish expectations within the family unit. Golden Agreements provide a framework for support, guidance, and peace of mind as life transitions occur.
Golden Agreements can be initiated by the Golden Client or by the families or loved ones. In the event the Golden Client is unable to accurately and effectively communicate their wishes, the same process will be used however the family members will be relied on for relevant details.
Sample topics we will cover: Where would you like to live if you can no longer care for yourself? Who would you like to pay your bills if you are unable for any reason? When would you be willing to authorize a family member to receive health information directly from a doctor?
Aging Blueprint
Golden Agreements + Comprehensive Look At Existing Documents
To address the more complex needs of some clients, Golden Agreements provides a holistic approach to planning and will make recommendations regarding legal documents and referrals to qualified professionals. These include explaining the roles and limitations of trust/estate attorneys, financial planners, elder care consultants, home-health agencies, funeral arrangements, and other likely providers. The Golden Agreements provide documents and instructional briefs to better prepare these professionals for outcomes that align with the overall family goals.
The Aging Blueprint is an additional 2 hours of time spent reviewing the specifics to align family goals with other professional services. This will include discussions about whichever topics need to be addressed and the time can be extended. Follow up conversations may be required.
Legacy Vault
Family Legacy Video
Preserve cherished memories and family history for generations to come. Our 2 hour guided video interview captures the unique stories and wisdom of your loved ones. This invaluable resource allows future generations to connect with their heritage, learn from the past, and understand the values that shaped your family.
Legacy Vault sessions can be booked independent of signing up for Golden Agreements.
Anticipated Cost: $1500 for an edited ~90 minute video including input and prompts from the family
